Kate Van asked:

I’m prescribed to Adderall and wanted to take it on vacation over the holidays. Unfortunately, I’ve kept them in a case instead of a bottle with which the doctor gave me. If I bring 2 months worth in a plastic bag through my luggage will security stop me and have to confirm that I am prescribed to them or do they not mind and just look for the harder drugs?

If you bring a lot of pills with you they might get suspicious, so I would err on the side of caution and bring proof of prescription with you. Joshua C

I brought my Concerta on the airplane in my carry-on, and it was fine. It was even on an overseas flight, both ways. Moky G

Carrying two months worth without a prescription is a good way to get pulled aside for special questioning and strip-searched. Definitely bring the prescription and the original bottles. Stacy
