Can I bring a clock in carry on luggage and can i bring toothpaste in my carry on luggage?

Toothpaste should be okay. A clock on the other hand? Quite unusual, but try packing it in socks and underwear in your luggage instead. It will be a lot safer that way because the carry on bag will eventually get knocked around or squished and the clock might break that way. Liztronica
Yes you can bring your clock. As for all gel, liquid, toothpaste, these can only be 3.4 oz/100ml or less.
Bigger containers and bottles should be put in checked bags. longliveabcdefg
The clock seems to be a little weird. It depends on the type of clock.
Toothpaste is a problem. If security is strict they will only let you bring a small tube of toothpaste and not a large tube (I have had a large tube of tooth paste confiscated at Beijing airport, which is much less strict than the US in terms of security flingebunt
There is absolutely no problem with either of those items.
Even in your carry on bag, you should wrap the clock up in something soft - like between layers of shirts or something.
Toothpaste simply must be 3.4 ounces (100 ml) or less. There is no problem in bringing a small tube with you.
There are probably 250,000 or so people getting onto planes every single day within the US. Many of them take only carry on bags and I would have to believe that most of them bring toothpaste. I also could guess that quite a few of them take travel alarm clocks with them. I know that I have. Roger K
