Can you bring car parts in your carry-on luggage when you fly?

yes you can bring them. however, they will probably pull you aside and do a thorough search. why? they won’t know what they are at first, and it’s out of the ordinary. that goes for putting anything atypical in your luggage.
as long as you aren’t bothered by that and allocate for the delay no problem. if not, check the bags. and, if you do that, make sure they can open the checked bag, because it’s likely they’ll unpack them to take a look. whenever i put my car GPS in my packed luggage, i find that it’s been opened and rifled through. if you lock your checked luggage, they’ll cut it open. farble1670
