Can you pack hairspray into check in luggage?

it goes in your hand luggage. not allowed in the depths of the plane. aphrodite
I’ve always packed aerosols in the check-in luggage without a problem - last time I flew was in September with KLM and it was fine then… maybe BMI are different? wibbly-wobbly
If the airline say no then it’s no. Not difficult to understand that surely and is a can of hairspray an essential item to worry about? ALAN T

I travel back and forth from the US to Africa for work often and I have tried to bring aerosol hairspray every time and every time I have it taken away every darn time…..they tell me it is because it may explode in extreme heat, cold, or in an unpressurized area and the luggage compartments are not temperature controled or pressurized but I will keep trying one of these days I may make it to Africa with hairspray then the humidity will not frizz up my hair…:) not very good odds on my part LOL Karen J
You can carry in your checked in luggage but not in ur hand baggage. But airlines always have the last say. And even if u r carrying make sure you pack/wrap it in a plastic cover or a zip lock bag. Due to pressure sometimes it might leak!
I personally have carried spray and all in my checked in luggage. Gini
