Could I bring a handle of alcohol in my luggage if I check it in?

If I check in my luggage and have a handle inside would they care? Because it doesn’t say my age or anything on it and it’s not like it’s in my carry on bag. Or would it be better if i just put it in water bottles?
Can people who are underage have alcohol in their checked luggage on airplanes?
