I am visiting Las Vegas this weekend. The check out time for my hotel is at 10am and my flight isn’t until 5pm. Can I store my luggage some where while I go around? Can the hotel desk keep it for me for a few hours?

OK, we’re going on holiday to Lebanon tomorrow morning through Alitalia, and we’re stopping over in Rome. There’s 6 of us and we have like 7 or 8 luggage cases together, along with 2 laptop bags and a backpack. What are the chances our luggage gets lost?

Airline is Continental - I didn’t notice until I was home & unpacking. I’ve got really good hard-sided Samsonite luggage and have used it lots. Southwest scuffed it, I wasn’t worried, but Continental CRACKED it.

I want to know what’s the name of those cubicles that you pay and you can leave there stuff for a few days that you dont want to keep at home. Those are a bigger than the ones at airports, and I think they are cheaper.

Are you supposed to tip the person at a hotel that holds the luggage for you? Let’s say they just get you your stored luggage but don’t bring it anywhere for you and don’t call a cab or anything. I did, but I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to.
what if they don’t bring it to your room? they just get it from storage for you. and do they automatically bring it to your room? or are you supposed to ask? sorry for all the questions. i don’t travel much and i’m just trying to understand this.
