We are visiting from Australia.

Is it customary for hotels to hold your luggage after you have check out of your room.

For example our flight is at 2230 and we check out at 1100… Does anybody have any good ideas about what we can do with our luggage.

It is not customary. Some hotels might offer that service, but you’re likely going to have to carry them with you for the rest of the afternoon and evening.

    Sorry.

Any hotel I’ve ever been at when I required that service has been quite receptive. Simply speak with someone at the bell desk; they will even come to your room and pick it up. When you’re ready to retrieve it, all you have to do is present your ticket. A tip is customary ($10 for up to three pieces should do it)
