Do you put disposable cameras in your carry on bag or checked luggage?
Auriana J asked:
Because some websites say you put disposable cameras on your carry on bag when your flying since the x rays that scan your checked luggage is so strong and will ruin the film but some sites say that the x rays from the carry on x ray machine will ruin the film and that it takes a long time to hand check each camera (i want to bring like 4 disposable cameras). So where do I put them? Checked or carry on? Thanks!

I would say it doesn’t matter. But I suggest keeping it in your carry on so you can a) use it during your flight/airport time and b) in case your luggage is lost/delayed at least you will have the camera!
If your disposable camera is new then put it in with your carry-on bag. The radiation is much greater going through the scanners in the checked luggage and will expose your new film.
