If it’s checked luggage, it doesn’t matter. If it’s a carry-on, then the 3oz rule would apply. Your makeup can’t be in a container more than 3oz. Yes, it will be detected by the x-ray machine. JazzSinger

If you are referring to carry-on luggage, the answer is “yes’. You have to abide by the rules set by the country of air travel departure. higbyny

Yes, and if the liqiud is more than 3 ounces or 100ml they will pull you up on it and you have to remove it (assuming you are talking about carry-on luggage, check in you can pack heavier bottles). They do pick it up 100%. jennifer g
