Tusia asked:

When you check in your luggage at the airport, and they deliver it to your final destination within the country by train, so you don’t have to pick it up at the airport? How exactly does it work? I mean, what do I have to do during check-in here in the USA?

I used it a few years ago. You did not have to do anything beforehand (except maybe organise your ticket). I walked out of customs/immigration in Zurich Airport and dropped my luggage (skis, boots and suitcase) at the counter about 20 metres away. It turned up in Verbier post office after 2 train changes and a gondola ride about 40 minutes after I did.
