Does anyone have spinner wheel luggage? Do you know how reliable are the wheels, do they break off easy after a few trips to the airport? Or do the wheels typically last a long time?

I travel about 50 times per year and have all kinds of luggage.
Choose luggage with the wheels somewhat inset. Spinner wheels often break off and do not fit well in overhead compartments. Further, cheap luggage equals cheap wheels which will go one way when you are trying to go another.

Spend about $100.00 on a decent suitcase with inset wheels and you will be very happy for a long time.

I use a hard shell type for both checked and hand luggage and would not use anything else - very convenient for walking through airports. Never had a problem with the wheels on the brand I’m now using, but I change luggage about every 3 years, so not sure how long you’re hoping it will last! I agree with the other person who answered you, spend in the range of $100 for the larger piece and about $75 for the smaller one and you should not go wrong.
