Not sure where you are from but the rules on what you can carry is the same - no sharp objects, 100ml of liquids or leass, in a clear plastic bags etc.

I believe the restriction has been lifted to two items of hand luggage now. Do check with your airline’s website to confirm.
a carry on and a purse
It generally one carry-on size suitcase and one “personal item” which can be your purse, a computer cast, a daypack, something like that. The carry-on size actually varies from carrier to carrier and depends on if you want to put it in the overhead or under the seat in front of you! Generally it’s about 24″ x 16″ x 10″. Sometimes they have weight restrictions too, so it always pays to check with your carrier.
