How strict are Ryanair with hand luggage?
I am flying from East mids airport this sat. Just wondering how strict ryanair are with hand luggage weight and dimentions please?
I am allowed 10kgs in weight and it can be 55X40X20 and I think my intended case is 50X35X26.
I’ve read people advising to put everything heavy in their hand luggage as they don’t weigh them, is this true? I really don’t want to be charged any extra. Thank you

call them and ask if you want the definative answer b
They are very very strict. I work at Stansted Airport and have friends who cover check in for Ryan Air.. They get bonuses for charging people extra on hand luggage and hold baggage.. I would not go over by a gram nor a centimetre… Have a fab trip!! funkysoulfulness
I think it is very marginally over the maximum linear size of 115cm (yours being 117 cm). As for them not weighing baggage, I think your friends are wrong, the reason they have the 10kg limit, is to encourage both lighter bags in the aircraft, and to force those travelling for longer that a short break to pay for checked baggage. trailblazer
