Is shampoo allowed to be in your Check in luggage on an International Flight?
Chris asked:
I am traveling to Japan from the US and I bought tooth bruses, tooth paste and shampoo. I was curious to whether they will be allowed to be in my luggage considering the bottles sizes. The shampoo bottle is 32 fl.oz. I will put the shampoo and other hygeine things in zip lock bags. Thank you for your time and consideration!

info on airport security below. For checked luggage, yes you can bring it. Redbridge
Yes it can be put in the checked baggage. I just wanted to tell you that half of the fun in an international trip is shopping in their local groceries, or pharmacies for your toiletries and shampoo! It is too cool to come home with unusual soaps and shampoos and toothbrushes! Cheap souvenirs, and the added bonus that you don’t have to carry them with you to your destination! Lighter baggage is always a plus! My family loves seeing the health care products I bring home from my various international travels! Another tip, if you find a fast food place, bring home some ketchup packets etc.. What a kick they get out of my Heinz ketchup in arabic or chinese! Prince§§ of µnί©orn waΨ
