Pack your bags. Bring all your tolietries and some comfortable clothes for you. You will wake up and want to look like a human again. You’ll feel much better if you are prepared!

That would be totally fine if you brought your luggage along. You will want to bring:

    Toiletries
    Makeup
Pajamas, easy access ones if you will be breast feeding
    Robe
    Slippers
Comfy clothes to go home in
Magazines, for when you are in the early stages of labor
    Car seat

    Best wishes!!!!!!!!

I took 2 suitcases on wheels to the hospital. One was full of my stuff, pyjamas, clothes, toiletries, sanitary pads, breast pads, hairdryer(very important, labour, sweating and hot bath does nasty things to your hair and you’ll want to look nice for photos and visitors). The other was full of baby stuff, singlets, suits, bunny rugs, blanket, baby wipes, nappy to go home in. Then I also had a plastic bag of stuff for labour, jelly beans, pack of cards, CDs, heat pack, face washer, hair ties, lip balm, old Tshirt for labour. My hospital gave me a list of what to bring. Good Luck.

I brought my “carry on” bag (which had wheels, the type that you can bring on an airplane) I would also suggest you bring a blanket to sleep on, that is one thing that I will bring when I have my 3rd child in June, usually hospitals have vinyl mattresses, and just a thin sheet over them makes you sweat from the vinyl, and if you have a blanket to sleep on, it might make you more comfy…

Less is not more in this case. I had to have people bring things for me which was inconvenient. Bring whatever you want. Don’t forget a boppy and shampoo. For some reason, I just assumed that they would have shampoo but no go. You might have to have a csection so bring extra comfortable clothes and slippers too. You will have to do some walking.

Bring whatever you want! I was actually hospitalized for three week prior to giving birth due to P.R.O.M. and I practically moved into the place! Even if I had made it to full term, I would have brought a substantial amount of stuff to keep my mind at ease. You never know what you’re going to need! Definitely nursing pads if you plan on breastfeeding. I didn’t leak or anything at first, but the residue from the colostrum made a nice little stain inside my bra! haha…

whatever it is, don’t feel embarrassed! It’s your baby, it’s your labor, and you’re gonna need whatever it is you feel like you will!
