Have you got any advice on getting lost luggage from QANTAS back?

My luggage has been lost since Friday from an international flight and Qantas is being most unhelpful in finding it and returning it to me. It has now been 5 days and they are saying they cannot give me a time frame in which it will be returned. I’m stuck with no clothes and none of my personal effects.
