Will a hotel hold my luggage if I have to check out at 12 and go to airport 7 hours later?

I am going to Chicago and staying at TheHyatt. I have to check out at 12noon and my flight does not leave until about 7:30 that night. Will the hotel hold my luggage somewhere for me while I hang out until it’s time to leave for the airport? I won’t have my own car to store them in and will be taking a taxi to the airport.

How does Travel Insurance work with Lost/stolen luggage?must you have receipts for everything in bag?
