I’ll go back to my country on January but I really dont know about the size of the luggage. Or if I dont go with the luggage, what size of the box should I go?(like how many inches for height, width). Thank you very much!

Can I take potato chips in my luggage on a plane?
I want to bring some chips to my cousins in South America. They would be carried in the luggage compartment, not carry on. Someone told me that the bag will pop if it’s put in the travel compartment. It’s not true, is it?
Is there an convenient way to recycle luggage?
I have a large suitcase that had its locks removed by TSA and also had its hinges broken (long story). I needed to travel again soon after, so I just bought a new suitcase. So I don’t need the old one repaired and want to get rid of it. How can I get this luggage recycled, donated, otherwise properly disposed? I don’t want to just put it in the trash.
What can I do to prevent damage to my luggage?
My luggage gets damaged whenever I travel. It is usually something minor, such as having the wheels or a strap broken off, but I once had a large hole punctured in the side of my bag and all my clothing spilling out.
This is not just an occasional incident. It probably happens once for every two or three flights I take. No one else I know has this problem so frequently, and I wonder if there is anything I could do to avoid it.
I am not overpacking the bags. I also use fairly good quality luggage, yet I still get samage.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
What is a good brand of luggage that will hold up to a decent amount of travel for several years?
I’ve been looking for luggage for a week or so, going to different stores and pricing them out. Obviously, I know that the 5 piece set for $50 isn’t as good as one bag for $300. But I’m curious what brands will stand the test of time. Thanks in advance!
Does checked-in luggage normally travel on the same plane as the passanger?
I recently flew to Europe and had a connection in Amsterdam. The first plane was late and I had to literally run to the next gate to make my connection. I did make it, but was sure that they did not have enough time to transfer my luggage. To my great surprise, my luggage arrived at the final destination together with me! How did they do it, is there a highly efficient luggage transfer system in airports? Is it possible that my checked-in luggage traveled by a different route?
