  1. DF7 says:

    pack it with explosives

  2. Squiggle says:

Tie a brightly coloured ribbon round the handles - so you can spot yours on the conveyor belt at the airport.

  3. Mary T says:

    Put a ribbin on it.

  4. durapneus says:

i suggest you put yellow or orange tape on the handle and on either side of the luggage. it’s easier to spot when coming off the ramp.

    ribbons get loose.

  5. WindowLicker says:

put some road flares inside. it’ll be tracked by specialists in the government for you.

  6. ascarta2 says:

different colored duct tape wrapped around it in strange ways.

  7. Moxie1313 says:

Tie a really bright ribbon around the handles, so you’ll be able to see it right away on the luggage carousel. Also, you should never put your home address on luggage tags, always use a work or school address.

  8. krisstachris says:

Put a kids nametag on it, like a winne the pooh one or take red tape and tape the handle

  9. rthornton001 says:

Tie some ridiculous rainbow scarf or something hideous to it. Something that no other person would tie to their luggage as decoration. I saw a ugly ribbon on one.

Prevent it from getting lost? Nothing that I know of. You can get a strap (or yarn even) and put it around your luggage so you can identify it quickly.

  11. Dont PANIC!unless ur @theDISCO says:

write “THIS IS MY LUGGAGE…NOT YOURS!”

  12. Paul M says:

get some yarn and wrap it around the handle. then you know its yours

You already have enough answers about ‘noticeable’ You can do nothing to prevent it getting lost but I have photos of my luggage to make it easier to identify if it does get lost

The easiest thing would be to buy new luggage ;-) Although, anymore, black isn’t as popular as it used to be. Prints, designer luggage and colors seems to be in.

But, you could tie ribbons onto your luggage, on the handle or something. You can also use decorative tape of some sort. Just, with either of these options, be sure not to use something common, use something different that not everyone will have. I’ve also seen people paint their luggage or do something decorative to make it stand out. I’ve also found, a unique luggage tag and/or lock helps it to stand out. The combination of the two together will make yours a little different. Just be sure to get a good visual of whatever you do and not who makes the luggage so it will be a little easier to spot.

  15. Princess says:

Nothing can prevent it from loss. Just unlucky if it happens to you. Make sure you have travel insurance to cover loss of luggage and don’t make anything you can not possibly live without in your luggage. To notice it quickly, just tie a big bright coloured ribbon around it. This generally works or get a sticker perhaps from your home town.

  16. Uncle John says:

Decorate it, some how, paint one part of it, glue your name to it. Some people suggest a colorful piece of yarn be tied on, but what if other people have that same color of yarn? So I don’t suggest that method, alone- but it’d be ok, in addition to whatever else you do.
