Mike C asked:

I’m 18. If i were to put 2-3 handles of hard alcohol into my luggage and check it, can it get taken away or can I get in trouble with the airline or with the law?

  1. James says:

For safety reasons, you cannot have alcohol higher than 140 proof in your luggage at all, any age. Otherwise, once you give your luggage to TSA or the baggage handlers, they won’t know how old you are or care if you have alcohol, but if you were carrying your luggage and got stopped and searched, you could be ticketed/arrested for possessing the alcohol.

  2. Watcher111 says:

Minor in possession of alcohol is illegal in most if not all states. you could be taken off the plane by TSA and held for the local police.

    It’s not worth the risk.
