I’m flying to Florida in a few days, and my mom told me I could only bring 100mL bottles of shampoo in my checkin luggage. I thought that was only for carry on luggage! Can someone confirm this?

You are correct those restrictions do only apply to carry-on luggage.

You can put anything in your checked luggage, within reason obviously. Shampoo is fine.

i am pretty sure they only have the restrictions on carry on luggage. but you probably should bag it anyway because it really sucks to have your shampoo blow up in your bag and get over everything.

Yes, you can put any size shampoo in your checked baggage.

I would recommend two things: put it in a waterproof container like a baggie, and squeeze just a bit of air out of it, then recap it, to avoid any problems due to small changes in air pressure.
