Davybhoy asked:

I am flying with my girlfriend to Liverpool with Ryanair this weekend and as Ryanair charge per bag, we decided hand luggage would be fine for an overnight stay. The problem is what can we bring with us? I know that aftershave etc. is a no no but what about her make up? What can and can’t she bring?

UK answers only please.

Thanks :)

Best advice is to check all the sizes and ensure she has nothing that could be considered a liquid above the maximum allowed size of 100ml/3.4 fl oz. You will need to put all liquid items into a single 20cm x 20cm clear bag (this can be one of those clear make-up bags). Only one bag per person. Don’t forget toiletries, and look out for the small travel size ones, as they are normally 100ml.

Edit: perfume & aftershaves are allowed if they are within the size limits, and you may find these in duty free, but if you are cming back with only carry on, check that the sizes will not cause an issue on your return. trailblazer
