what is the free luggage allowance for students in Lufthansa airlines?
divya asked:
For boarding the flight to Europe from India, the general free baggage allowed in Lufthansa Airlines is 20kg (+5 or +10) but is there any special offers for students going for study?
20kgs wont do a thing!

Dear Dvyia…If you haggle with airlines they will allow 2 suitcases, but the rest you will have to pay extra.
If you don’t find anything by yourself then e-mail them and tell them what you need.
That will be very helpful for you because you will get the exact information you need- which, obviously, cannot be provided by us.
Have a nice Trip!
Why should students get an extra allowance? You need to pay up for excess baggage or ship your stuff separately.
Well i know if you board from America they allow you two free bags each weighing 50 lbs. So 100 all together you can bring without charge. After that its crazy expensive, like 200 per extra bag….and if you bag weighs over 50lbs, even over by a little…it costs 150. But idk..maybe its different in India.
There is nothing such a thing called free luggage allowance for students. Why should they?
