Anything of value should be brought in your hand luggage, never put valuables in checked luggage. If you have room, a change of clothes in case your checked luggage is delayed along with any medicines, a toothbrush and other toiletries (under 100ml.) you use daily. Keep all your important papers such airline tickets or e-tickets, travel and hotel vouchers, passports, etc., along with a pen or pencils and something to write on. Just be sure you know what items are restricted and prohibited as well. Gerald J
