I bought a really cool Samsonite roll aboard at TJ Maxx for $49. It was originally $150.

Instead of the 360 degree rotating wheels, it has regular in-line skate wheels and 4 outboard wheels that allow it to roll up aircraft aisles on either side. It fits easily into any overhead bin and is much more durable than the free-rotating wheels.

Also, if you’re not a name-brand snob, Costco has a nice line with a lifetime replacement warranty. The 24″ is $99.00. If anything goes wrong with it, return to any Costco for a free replacement.

I fly in and out about once a week and I finally bought great luggage from I bought the TravelPro line and it’s been holding up well. Before that I purchased a few roller boards from walmart and places like that and the luggage broke or looked really bad. I’m glad I paid a little more for something nice. It’s also nice when I see colleagues at the airport - I look professional!
