Balaboo asked:

Ryanair has contact lenses on the list of prohibited items when it comes to hold luggage, but strangely enough it’s ok to have in your hand luggage.

can anyone help shed some light on this?

thanks.

It is not prohibited to put contact lenses in your checked luggage but as MadMan has already answered, if your bag gets lost you will not be replaced for the items that are on the prohibited list, such as valuables and medication Kayla
